Holy Communion or The Lord’s Supper

Lutherans believe that the Lord’s Supper is a precious gift of God in which Christ gives us His true body and blood (in a miraculous way), together with the bread and wine in accordance with the Holy Scripture:  “This is my body…This is my blood.” In this Holy Supper, He gives forgiveness of sins, strength for our life, and unity with Him.  Those who believe this promise, are baptized, and have taken Communion previously are welcome at the altar.  If you have any questions about Holy Communion, please speak to the pastor.
